Exciting Updates on the 2010 UPPA Spring Market
The 10th annual UPPA Spring Market will be held on
Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at UP Elementary. In 2009, this
event was attended by more than 700 shoppers and raised over
$50,000 for UP Elementary. The Spring Market features
more than 90 vendors selling clothing, household accessories,
children’s items, jewelry, and much more. In addition,
hungry shoppers may purchase lunches from local restaurants in
the Panther Café. The café also offers kids lunches for
the littlest shoppers.
The
30-member Spring Market committee plans and staffs all aspects of
the market including: vendor selection, solicitations and
underwriting, ticket sales, print and publicity, party planning
and decorations, café, bake sale, Panther Cub booth, frozen
casserole sale, raffle baskets and so much more. The
entire event is run by generous members of the UPPA who
volunteer their time and talents to make the event a success
year after year. Each UPPA member is asked to volunteer 3
hours of their time toward the event. For information or
